Back in May, I ventured on the train to London for my first ever Central London wedding! After starting this business almost three years ago, this was a huge milestone for Laura Elizabeth Photography and a real pinch me moment; So many photographers I admire had photographed at this particular venue and it really felt like a turning point for my little business. Likewise, this was a venue which many celebrities and famous people had wed at, making it truly extra special and a wedding I will never forget.
Abbie and Chris got married in the Pimlico Room. A beautiful, contemporary and light room. It was the perfect backdrop for their intimate wedding. Before the ceremony, Abbie and Chris opted for their own special 'first look.' This was the loveliest moment shared between two people who clearly love each other so much. The Ceremony
Did I mention Mr and Mrs Tubb-Bell got married in the Pimlico Room at The Old Marylebone Town Hall? This same room also saw Jude Law get married here. Surrounded by their family and close friends, Abbie and Chris exchanged their vows and enjoyed a reading from Abbie's sister. Making this ceremony extra special and unique, Abbie and Chris had also written their own extra vows. Both vows were written straight from the heart and there was plenty of happy tears from their guests. Here is some highlights from their marriage...
Confetti!
This part of the blog post requires little words. I was SO EXCITED to capture some iconic confetti photos outside the town hall.
Couples portraits & family photos
Before leaving the town hall, we got the chance to quickly snap a few photos inside the building. Safe to say it's absolutely stunning. Once we took some photos inside and outside the town hall, capturing those classic photos we see all over instagram, we headed to Baker Street Station for some rather different couple's photos than what I am used to. I really got the chance to be creative here and again, a real pinch me moment for a photographer with a relatively new business from little old Suffolk! I couldn't be happier with how the tube photos turned out and they are photos I will love forever. We then ventured over to Regent's Park for some more couples portraits and family photos. Abbie and Chris had picked the most amazing location for these photos and although it was a super hot day, it didn't stop us from taking advantage of the gorgeous rose garden and everything the park has to offer. The most stunning day...
This truly was one of the most gorgeous days and an experience I will never forget. I am very grateful to Abbie and Chris for asking me to travel down to their lovely London wedding and trusting me with the most important day of their lives! I hope to photograph many more weddings at The Old Marylebone Town Hall in the future.
